Well, i know that your "all" position didn't stem from maice. I think it should be reasonable to say, not everyone who use the "not all" tag in their responses are malevolent in their intents. All the more so when you consider that not all responders are as logical & intellectually astute as you are.

Going through this essay, I instantly saw scenarios where "not all" was a patently ill-willed answer.

My reasoning is, using rigid categorizations like "all" and "not all" precludes nuances and inbetween shades of intentions. This invariably results in perpetuating stereotypes that are constantly pulling societies apart.
