Hi,

And thanks for being here.

This newsletter has been on for months β€” idle. I have decided to revive it and feature weekly articles written by myself and other writers on Muse2Muse and Medium.

  1. My first pick is The Smartest Person I Ever Worked With Taught Me One Thing The author told the story of his encounter with a guy that has had great impact on his life.
  2. Dylan Combelink explained why he still believes in the West. β€œIt’s become quite popular to hate the West these days, especially for people in distant lands. That is, of course, until they get a visa.”
  3. In The New Anti-American Americans, writer Tessa Schlesinger explained thus, β€œMy point here is that most people do not have the kind of intellect to spot the inaccuracies in books, television, articles, politician, and more. They accept what is told them because we are a herd speciesβ€Šβ€”β€Šwe follow the leaders…”
  4. Ever so often you come across an article that expatiates better or shed brighter insights into what you’ve been thinking. Another article from Tessa Schlesinger β€” The Best Blog I’ve Read on Israel/Palestine did it for me.
  5. Lessons from Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals is my first Muse2Muse story being highlighted in this newsletter. Among other lessons, reading and reviewing that book has taught me that a revolution doesn’t necessarily mean violent or bloody social change. It is the climax point where people realize that the old way of running their societies will not sustain them for the future. According to Alinsky, β€œA revolution without a prior reformation would collapse or become a totalitarian tyranny.”

This newsletter is an experiment. My primary goal is to draw Muse2Muse community and other Medium writers to outstanding articles that resonated with me in the last week.

Apart from stories written by me and those I edit for Muse2Muse publication, all other authors and their publications are unaware their stories are being featured in this newsletter.

I will appreciate your ideas and contributions.

Thank you.
