This poem started as a suicide note during one of the most depressing times of my life, but ended up with me staring at my tears, thinking about wildflowers, and sunshine β€” I love sunrise and sunset, especially on my skin, and deciding life is too beautiful for me to leave it behind, and that I can actually take a step and another, and another …and see if I can turn things around. I will hopefully write more about my experience and share my old poems about them.
