I can't agree more as I recently bought a steal of a new (used) laptop to replace my old, still running (also pre-used) laptop.

The learning curve from Win 10 to Win 11 was smooth and quickly done with. The new laptop boots up in ~ 25 seconds. (Yes, I timed it.) My son inherited the old one & instantly upgraded it to Win 11.

Whenever possible, I prefer buying the best midrange priced devices that I then use for 4 or 5 years before saving & hunting for the next shiningnest and affordable gizmo.

Newer devices often come with the latest and better productivity tools that can act as spurs to being more productive.
